Summary
Twigfall has no ads, no tracking and no accounts. Single-player modes work offline. Only the optional Online with a friend mode talks to our game server, and only to run the match.
Information we collect
When you play Online with a friend, the game sends to our server (hosted on Cloudflare):
- the player name you type (or a random name the game made up for you),
- a random player ID created on your device (not linked to your phone, Google or Apple account),
- your button inputs during the match, the fighter you picked, and the match result.
The server keeps the result of each finished online match (both player names and IDs, winner, score, stage, time) so it can keep a record of matches between friends. Results are deleted after 12 months. Room data and inputs are deleted when the room has been empty for 30 minutes. Like every web service, the hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the connection; we do not store it.
At the end of an online match the game also sends connection quality numbers (device platform such as Android or iOS, network delay, how often the game had to wait or correct itself). We use them only to fix lag. They are linked to the room code, not to your name, and are deleted after 90 days. The game does not use the advertising ID and does not contain any advertising or analytics SDK.
Purchases
The game has no in-app purchases. Fighters and styles are unlocked with coins earned by playing.
Data stored on your device
Your progress (coins, unlocked fighters and styles, stats) and settings are saved in the app's private storage on your device. You can delete them by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game.
Sharing
We do not sell or share personal data. When you tap Invite or Share K.O., your phone's share sheet opens and you choose where the room link or picture goes.
Permissions
Internet (online matches only) and vibration (hit feedback, can be turned off in Settings).
Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.
Deleting your online data
Email us with your player name and we will delete the stored match results for it.
